Steps

Figure 1: New Account

Window One

  • Log into the custoMES partition as admin (e.g. AS+)
  • Go to: Management > Admin > User
  • Create a new test account "TRACER" without any permissions
  • Edit the new account in order to create a password
Figure 1: New Profile
  • Go to: Management > Admin > Profile
  • Create a new Profile "RESTRICTED-USER"


Window Two

  • Log into custoMES partition with the new TRACER account and its password


Window One

Figure 1: Activate trace
  • Go to: Management > Admin > Diagnose > Sessions
  • Select (double click) the session of the TRACER account
  • Click on "Activate trace"


Window Two

  • Do what ever the new Profile (user group) should be allowed to do


Window One

  • Click on "Deactivate trace" (you see the actions in the field below)
  • Click on "Add trace to profile"
  • Select the "RESTRICTED-USER"
  • Go to: Management > Admin > User
  • Create any user with this profile you need
